
Paducah, KY, December 27, 2024 – Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center (MHDCC) has named the winners of its 3rd Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month Awards: Paducah Beer Werks, Bob Bloomingburg, and Janet Camp.
As part of awareness month activities in October, MHDCC staff, board members and clients nominated and voted for community individuals, organizations or businesses they felt most characterized Advocacy, Empowerment and Transformation within the past year for the 2024 awards.
Winners were presented with their awards throughout November and early December.
The winners are as follows:
Advocacy Award, given for believing and directly supporting survivors of domestic violence through annual awareness and fundraising campaigns and creative partnerships with MHDCC:
Paducah Beer Werks
Empowerment Award, given for directly benefiting survivors of domestic violence by supporting, inspiring and equipping survivors as they break through barriers on their journeys toward healing and restoration:
Bob Bloomingburg, Assistant Vice President – Loan Officerat Independence Bank
Transformation Award, for directly benefiting survivors of domestic violence by advocating for and coordinating large-scale volunteer support and transformational donations for MHDCC:
Janet Camp, Communication Director at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Paducah, KY Stake)
