Thank You for Making our 8th Annual PaDucky Derby a Success!

The Cookie Project
You won’t find them in stores. You will find them in our story.
The Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center strives to provide quality, trauma-informed care to all who enter its doors. Sometimes, that quality care takes the form of food that nourishes both the body and soul. Just like preparing and serving food, sometimes the journey of healing happens in stages, and the PROCESS is just as important as the end PRODUCT.
Each cookie purchased has been made from scratch – freshly baked just for you. The process has been carefully refined to result in a delicious savory treat. While the product is what you’re after, we invite you to consider the process. We invite you to remember victims of domestic violence – their unspeakable trauma endured and their process to recovery. Each time you support Merryman House, you support those who deserve the “sweetest” things life has to offer & remind them the process will be worth it in the end.

Financial Contributions
Please consider joining the Merryman Giving Society. Your recurring financial contribution helps the Merryman House sustain the foundation we have built. No amount is too little. Non-Financial Contributions
Our most common needs are women’s underwear, socks, jogging pants, T-shirts and sports bras. These are given to survivors when they come into the shelter. Many times they have nothing but the clothes on their back, and we want to offer them clean, comfortable clothing to wear.
Other needs include: Pre-packaged breakfast foods, white twin sheets, towels and washcloths, new pillows and over-the-counter medications.

I show up for child and adult survivors at the Merryman House because I believe that all people, regardless of age, can heal and grow after they have endured trauma like domestic violence. It’s my honor to come alongside the Merryman House in their mission to save, build, and change the lives of the children and adults they serve.
