Adopt a Duck. Save a Life.

Coming October 24, 2020!

The Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center holds its annual duck race every April at Noble Park Pond in Paducah, KY.  In light of COVID-19, it has been moved to October this year! All proceeds from the PaDucky Derby will contribute to our mission and help meet the needs of victims of intimate partner abuse and their dependents as they strive to live lives free of violence. Each duck adopted will go directly to saving, building and changing the lives of those affected by domestic violence. Click below for more information or to adopt a duck!

The Cookie Project

You won’t find them in stores.  You will find them in our story.

The Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center strives to provide quality, trauma-informed care to all who enter its doors. Sometimes, that quality care takes the form of food that nourishes both the body and soul. Just like preparing and serving food, sometimes the journey of healing happens in stages, and the PROCESS is just as important as the end PRODUCT.

Each cookie purchased has been made from scratch – freshly baked just for you. The process has been carefully refined to result in a delicious savory treat. While the product is what you’re after, we invite you to consider the process. We invite you to remember victims of domestic violence – their unspeakable trauma endured and their process to recovery. Each time you support Merryman House, you support those who deserve the “sweetest” things life has to offer & remind them the process will be worth it in the end.

The Lone Star Rodeo is Coming to Paducah!

The Lone Star Rodeo is coming back to Paducah in September 2021! The Lone Star Rodeo is a family-run affair that produces more than 40 events per year in 13 states. The event in Paducah will benefit Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center.

This unique weekend event will be fun for the entire family, featuring eight professional rodeo events: Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Calf Roping, Cowgirls Breakaway Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Bull Riding and Barrel Racing.

I show up for child and adult survivors at the Merryman House because I believe that all people, regardless of age, can heal and grow after they have endured trauma like domestic violence. It’s my honor to come alongside the Merryman House in their mission to save, build, and change the lives of the children and adults they serve.

Merryman House is always touching my heart with how much it does to help those desperately in need of recovery and self-esteem. So many lives are saved through the Merryman House Programs. I am thankful that God has reached out to me to be beneficial to this organization and its great efforts to successfully enrich and restore health and faith in those whose needs are fulfilled at Merryman House.
